Nowadays, who has 2 or 3 days to assess speaking. We have so many other things on our plates, so many other things we have to teach, we just don't have the luxury to waste that much class time.
I've tried a lot of different things to assess speaking without taking up too much class time. I've tried having students record their speaking, but then discovered that most of them pre-wrote what they were going to say and just read it on camera.
I've tried having speaking appointments before or after school or even during lunch to assess students individually, but it wasn't fair to them or to me to make them give up their free time.
What I came up with and have used successfully for the past decade or so is what I will teach you in this 90-minute webinar!
